The Legions of Yuri

Unlike the Allies and Soviets, Yuri didn't have as good a time. Following the defeat of his forces at the Larson Ice Shelf in Antarctica, he was imprisoned in a psychic-blocking prison near Cairo in Egypt. Yuri remained in this prison for another two weeks, then the timelines merged. The temporal distortions damaged the Chrono equipment holding him in his cell. Yuri took the opportunity, and fled from his prison. He travelled down through Africa, stopping briefly at a base loyal to him in South Africa. He gathered what forces he could from there, and, upon leaving the base, killed his deputy, Commander Sefu Kefilwe, for attempting to broker a ceasefire with the Allies and Soviets.

Upon traversing the Southern Ocean over to Antarctica. Yuri's forces proceeded further inland, finally setting up base right at the South Pole. The Allied, Soviet and civilian research stations were quickly wiped out. The South Pole was quickly fortified. Yuri then set about reorganising his army so that he would not suffer such a humiliating defeat again. He split his army into three different legions, one for each theater of operations. He then formed a fourth legion from his most elite followers to guard his Antarctic base. Yuri tasked the three other legions with gaining territory in their own domains. Meanwhile, Yuri started planning revenge on his greatest nemesis, the Soviet Union. Within a couple of weeks, plans were drawn up and agreed upon.

The attack began. Diversionary forces were sent to the Kamchatka Peninsula, the Bering Strait, and the Kara Sea. Meanwhile, a force of Yuri Commandos - Savants, were quietly smuggled into the country from the Black Sea. Once in, they proceeded to the city of Novgorod, not too far inland, and not too far from Moscow. Novgorod was quickly brought under Yuri control. Planes were immediately landed with supplies and construction materials. Novgorod was fortified with as many defenses as Yuri could spare. As he predicted, the Soviet Union was initially slow to counterattack, due to the reported 'attacks' across the country. Then, they found out the truth, and rushed to Novgorod, where the rock-hard defenses, and tank columns of the Atlantic Legion were waiting to meet them.

Now, with his staging area in the Soviet Union ready, Yuri wants to begin his invasion of the Soviet Union. Yuri forces are mobilising in Novgorod to head out, by land, air, and even underground. The Soviet Union doesn't stand a chance...
