Soviet Upgrades

| Overcharge |
|
| Prerequisite: Tesla Reactor, Upgrade Facility | |
| Cost: $500 | |
| Primary Usage: Emergency Power | |
| This upgrade will severely overcharge the Tesla Reactor it is applied to, giving it an extremely large power output, but as with all good things there is a catch. When upgraded to Overcharged Mode, the Tesla Reactor will slowly take damage until it explodes. Repairing the Reactor either with the repair function, an engineer or the Emergency Repair power will lengthen its life and prolong the power boost. This is used to provide emergency power so your base can function in a blackout for long enough to almost completely construct a Nuclear Reactor. Alternatively, you can place spare Tesla Reactors at the side of your base and Overcharge them when enemy forces are approaching, for a Demo Trap type effect, as the explosion and resulting radiation will harm enemy units. | |
